Since 1880, Schweser's has been serving the women of the Midwest with Savings, Service, and Selection. Founded in David City, Nebraska by George Schweser, the company has thrived with four generations of family ownership. Although the stores and products have changed, the dedication to our customers and to serving towns throughout the midwest has not. We look forward to serving you in one of our stores in the future! We carry a full line of Misses and Plus size fashions in all of our stores. Many of our stores also carry Petite sizes, as well as a Kids Fashion department. All of our stores also carry fashion handbags and jewelry, along with a seasonal home decor and giftware department.
Our famous brand-name fashions include Alfred Dunner, Sag Harbor, Notations, Allison Lane, Requirements, Carters, Morning Sun, Bill Blass, Erika, and much more. We take pride in carrying the latest fashions at prices nobody else can match.

Leaves are flirting with new colors and pumpkins are beginning to adorn front porches.Fall at Schwesers is all about change as well. Our stores are filled with ways to add an inexpensive, fashionable twist to your fall wardrobe. Scarves, in all sizes, textures, and colors, are perfect accent pieces to a favorite jacket or sweater. A new handbag can make a statement all on its own. All of these changes are new and affordable to everyone. Fall is also about functional fashion.
